Located in Kinmount, Ontario, the heart of cord country, I started tinkering and wrenching on my own bikes from a young age, even before high school. I would buy old junk bikes and make them rideable, while also working on vehicles. Being an avid dirt bike rider and snowmobile enthusiast, I was always interested in engine building. In 2005, I pursued a full-time career at a local Yamaha dealer and became licensed in May 2010. I developed an interest in truck pulling and built a 427 big block Chevy engine on my own, which performed extremely well in many truck pulls across the province. In 2013, I left the Yamaha dealer and registered my own business, seizing an opportunity to work with a local high-performance marine and snowmobile dealership. This allowed me to hone my skills to a higher level, working on cigarette boats and high-performance turbo sleds. At this point, my interest in the dirt bike world became more serious, and with encouragement from my friend Aaron Wilkins, a top-level off-road racer in the area, I got into cross-country and endurance racing. This led to significant growth in bike work at my home shop, as well as the start of suspension work. Despite limited resources, I began tinkering with our own suspension and people started to take notice, requesting suspension work for their own bikes. Around 2018, I moved to a local KTM, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha dealer, pursuing KTM training and gaining more bike experience. Our racing progressed, achieving success at the intermediate level, with a win at the Corduroy Enduro and second place in the Offroad Ontario Championship. My fiancée Shannon also got involved in bike racing and performed exceptionally well, winning a couple of local championships, and consistently reaching the podium at the Corduroy Enduro. We strive to contribute to the Corduroy Enduro and the off-road community as much as possible in our spare time.

Currently, we provide assistance to several local off-road and motocross racers, most notably Ryder Heacock, a four-time Provincial Offroad Ontario champion and 2022 podium finisher at the Corduroy Enduro in the pro class. Aaron Wilkins, a seasoned off-road professional with unparalleled raw talent, has also secured a spot on the pro podium, competing against factory teams. It's truly amazing considering the scale of this challenge. Lucas Castelo, an up-and-coming rider, shows great potential in both off-road and some motocross events, currently riding in the supermini category. We also provide support to a dedicated group from the Haliburton area who are quickly establishing a reputation for themselves.

As you can tell, I am passionate about off-road racing and the Corduroy Enduro. The Corduroy Enduro is a longstanding race that attracts international talent and is renowned as the best in the country and the world. It has continued to grow, with 500 competitors, and has remained capped for the past two seasons. It is highly recognized in the dirt bike industry and serves as an excellent way to connect my business with anyone involved in the community.
